I have taken 2 vehicles to D's and I truly could not be any happier with the experience I have had both times. The honesty on what the vehicle needs, speed at which it is done, and price to do the work is all A+. Dion has saved me over $2200.00 compared to what shops wanted here in Rochester to get the same work done. I will continue to take my vehicles to him for a long time to come. I was referred to D's by someone who said I could trust Him. I live 40 min. away. After being very satisfied, I will go to D's everytime. He let me know exactly where I stood with my mechanical problem, and he was very fair and quick on fixing my truck and getting me back on the road.
Let me start with this: These people are not the shady mechanics that try to sell you things you don't really need. They are friendly and do a fine job. I've been to D's a few times over the last couple months. My first time there was for a wiper motor that was bad. It made terrible grinding noises since the day I got the car. I decided to get that replaced, and the people at D's did that for me. The part costed more than the labor (Thanks GM...). My wipers have since been going strong even after quite a stormy summer. So that went well. I've also been in for an oil change twice now. I'd do that myself if I had the tools and patience, but I don't. I brought my G6 in and was out within 30 minutes. They replaced the filter, topped off some of the fluids, and checked the tire pressure as part of that process. Both times went well. The third time I visited was for brakes. There was a pretty bad grinding noise coming from the front brakes even when I let off the pedal. Unfortunately, as the mechanic kindly pointed out, the calipers were shot. (I was shown directly before any work was done as I was in the waiting area) So I got new pads, rotors, and calipers that day. The good news? Reasonable cost for the whole works, and based on the driving I've done since, the job was done well. I can definitely tell the brake system works better with the new hardware. Overall, this is a great place to go. I've had good experiences each time and will continue going here for future repairs and maintenance.
Super friendly service, honest straight forward guy... he wont sell you parts you don't need like other places in town.
My van's brakes locked up while on the Highway near Zumbrota, MN. I limped the van to D's Auto Care. The tech promptly put the van on the lift, fixed the problem, and had me on my way in less than 10 minutes. Very helpful, friendly, and the price was unbeatable. Thanks guys!
