This is supposed to be fast food right? Pulled into the drive through at 6 pm on a Friday. The line was about 8 cars deep and we didn't move a single spot in 15 mins. Gave up and drove further down hwy 52 to the next McDonald in Rochester and was in and out in with zero wait. My brother in law who lives in the area confirmed that the Zumbrota McDonald's location is the worst in the Rochester area.
Come on do you really need me to tell you this? It's McDonald's, it was absolute garbage I only did it out of extreme desperation and starvation I do not recommend it it's the last resorts for sustenance absolutely appalling bathrooms were disgusting and the food was worse than I remembered
BEFORE YOU EXIT HIGHWAY 52 going South/East: the ramp to return from stop to the highway is still under construction, Sept 17, 2017. Restaurant itself is very clean & spacious. Left highway 52 just to use bathrooms: 2 handicap-access unisex stalls. To get back on Highway 52, turn right out of parking lot and take sturdy packed-gravel road to back road, turn left at 1st stop sign on to 480th Street, then you can turn right in like 1/2 mile to get back on to 52.
Went through the drive through with my kids. After getting my food I pulled in to use the rest room. Young lady working mumbles some ride comments at me as I was leaving. When I confronted her and asked her to repeat herself she declined, then made something up. It was pretty weird and awkward. I don't know. I was just always taught if you can't say something nicer..
The food is pretty good. The service is good as well. Have had to wait a couple of times for my food. But it was usually during a meal time so that is to be expected.
Oh and then we got back on the road we discovered they'd left two of the items we paid for off of our order. They weren't in the bag. After that experience it was.worth the lost $3 not to have to go back there.
